I am a long time fan of Kara Walker’s work. I was pleased to see that Glamour magazine selected her as one of its women of the year. This is not the first time she has been featured in a fashion magazine. Below is an image from a spread in Vogue from a few years back. I have it hanging in my cube at work.

We’ve been laughing ourselves silly watching old episodes of The Streets of San Francisco this weekend. There is just something so awesome about 70’s TV. And it’s fun pointing out the locations. I hope your weekend is fun!
So I was waiting for the bus over the weekend. The bus stop is in front of a super yummy restaurant called Spices II. I was running around after Pip, keeping her entertained, when I noticed something. Look closely…
That is someone’s apartment above the restaurant and the clock is facing out to the street. I guess they really want everyone to know the time. Maybe they wait at that bus stop every day, and don’t like wearing a watch? What are your theories?
I am late posting this, but last week I sent off my package for the Autumn Swap. My partner should receive it any day now, if she hasn’t already. It was a busy day – sorry for the poor lighting.
