check, check and check.

Hi there. We checked a few things off our December list this weekend. First, we made what was, according to Abby, the longest paper chain garland in the world.

On Saturday, we pretended to be the inhabitants of the Dunsmuir House. Because of rain in the forecast,  we mostly had the place to ourselves.

Horse drawn carriage was our preferred mode of transportation.

Then on Sunday, we saw two fellows who looked like they would much rather be in the North Pole right now.

We got caught in an indoor snow storm.

And we sat beneath the Northern Lights. Lovely.

Happy Monday!

  1. what fun! do you have any idea how lucky you are to see the northern lights? that has been on my “bucket list” for a while. even in alaska, we didn’t see them!!

    • Oh, haha! I didn’t see the real Northern Lights. There was a movie projected on the ceiling of an igloo in my local natural history museum. It was part of their holiday festivites. It was kind of like really being there though. The real nothern lights are on my bucket list too! Someday….
